Joel was profoundly gracious and a great sport as he demolished yet another of my teams. This one was decided by about turn 3, with shrewd play and powerful armour and CAS rolls by the orcs.
The skaven were their own worst enemy with high risk plays and attempts to continuously push their own crummy dice. It all came good in turn 15 though, with a touchdown that stopped a 4-0 walkover. Turns out that play had a 0.75% chance of succeeding, so... go Templeton and Hamato Yoshi!
Also, I found out that my niece was born during this game, so we enjoyed some Laphroaig together to welcome Hailey Lucia Stephenson to the word. Hopefully she has better luck and better decision-making capabilities than her uncle. |
