Return of the CAN The rumour mill has it right for a change - Coach Elan has released the CAN to terrorise the soft underbelly of Season 10 MBBL.
Apparently during their long hiatus they developed a few permanent cheerleaders and require extra coaching staff, to hone their already impressive skills.
To reward their fans and keep the ladies happy, the CAN will be looking to pick up another "most brutal" award and perhaps a few other trophies - adding to their "opponent body parts" collection from previous seasons.
May the blessings of Chaos and Nuffle be upon them! |

A dismal semi-performance Against a well drilled opponent, the CAN finally stuffed up and lost ... unfortunately it was the semi-final and their one great SNAFU of the season saw them bundled out, despite the Minor Premiership ...
Despite some attempted heroics, including Blackhoof's efforts to damage the opposition as well as catch a pass, Nuffle decided that this game would go Zombieland, and the dead were dancing around the fumble fingered CAN.
Now the big debate is whether Coach Elan will be retained next season, as his contract was to get into the Finals - will the owner's want him back after a misplayed semi-? Will the MBBL be graced by the CAN again? |

Pre-season draft In the finest traditions of the CAN (meaning they just made it up and it still seems like a good idea) the Coach and team have tested out the concept of "the Draft".
A number of taverns were raided, as well as a small dwarven brewery (called bugman's?) and much draft was consumed.
Apparently this aids in team development and stamina during the season. We shall see. |

Two deaths and a Draw Coach Elan has urged his team to try and play the ball a little more.
The CAN focus on head-kicking has lead to a few positives - the death of Takos the Mummy of Zombie Land at the hands of Kungus being a Round 9 Headline - but the Coach now wants to win a few games before the end of the Season.
Insiders claim that this is due to the mean-spirited jibes of Commissioner Kyle, whose Dark Elves slimed their way to a win over Coach Annachie's out of form Norse, moving the Dark Elves ahead of the CAN in the league rankings.
The CAN also confirmed a free agent left CAN to join Zombie Land during the Round 9 Match - Hobgoblin Erasmus was plucked from this mortal coil and became Zombie Erasmus mid-match. The CAN spokesman noted that no-one had liked Erasmus much anyway. |
